The relaxing of regulations licensing for civil services has
meant that ceremonies such as weddings, traditionally held in
places of worship or a registry office, may now be held at The
Nonsuch Mansion.
We have a variety of room sizes to suit small, medium or large
occasions. All are ideal for ceremonies where the registrar
is booked to carry out the legal requirements at your chosen
venue. Rooms can be hired individually for the ceremony only
or together to accommodate a reception afterwards.
The
ornate architectural décor of the Nonsuch Mansion
and its charming gardens, along with the flexibility of
the attending registrar, makes it a unique opportunity to
create
a truly memorable day.
To organise a civil ceremony at the Nonsuch Mansion, first
call us on 020-8393-4922 to arrange a suitable day. Then call
the East Surrey Register Office, to book a registar for the
occasion.

Civil Partnerships (Taken from the Women and Equality Unit website)
The Civil Partnership Act 2004 received Royal Assent on 18 November 2004 The Civil Partnership Act came into force on 5 December 2005. The Act creates a new legal relationship of civil partnership, giving legal recognition to same-sex couples for the first time.
Civil partnership gives a wide range of rights and responsibilities similar to marriage to those couples that opt to register. Certain same-sex relationships registered overseas (e.g. civil unions or same-sex marriages) may automatically be treated as civil partnerships in the UK provided certain conditions are met.
